Aquatic Plant Management & Invasive Species Prevention Plan
Maintaining the health and beauty of Matthews Lake requires thoughtful stewardship, and one of the most important steps is managing aquatic plants while preventing the spread of invasive species. A well-designed plan helps balance the lake’s natural ecosystem, ensuring native plants thrive, water quality remains high, and recreational activities like boating, swimming, and fishing can be enjoyed for years to come. By proactively addressing invasive threats and promoting sustainable plant management, our lake association is working to protect Matthews Lake as a vibrant, healthy resource for current residents and future generations.
